EDUCATION CITY - SCHOOL BUILDING CANOPY

The Education City Stadium was built to host the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and then became a sports, recreational, educational and social centre for the Qatar Foundation community and the Qatari community as a whole. It is also home to the Education City School, a 12 square kilometer campus housing multiple educational and research institutes.

DSP Doha was commissioned to create and install heavy steel canopy structured cladding and a triple-layered canopy screen. The total roof cladding area is 11,500m² for the school and is comprised of 3 layers of designed aluminum panels. DSP DOHA completed the 3D design and value engineering, supply, fabrication and installation of works.
